· Focus & Exposure
Apple has made provision to adjust the focus and exposure separately for a shot. Focus can be set by tapping on the specific area of the image and exposure can be set by moving the sun icon slider next to the focus point, up and down its track. This works in every mode except Pano mode. Also, better and faster autofocus sensors are being enabled.
· Timer
In iOS8 camera, you will see a clock type symbol on top. This is click timer which enables you to set a 3 seconds or 10 seconds delay when clicking photos. This is really great when you want yourself to be in the photo or want to take a good selfie without any camera shake and can click burst of photos.· Time-lapse
Now you can also create time-lapse videos which enables you to capture long sequences of video. iOS will dynamically adjust the frequency of the photos it takes for Time-lapse mode. The camera then intelligently turns the long video into a fast-paced recap so that everything appears to move much more quickly. To access time-lapse video mode, swipe through the list of shooting modes (video, photo, square, pano, etc.) next to the shutter button until Time-Lapse is selected.
· SLO-MO
Another interesting feature is Slo-Mo. You can take video clips that slow down the action to glacial levels. You can make people run, jump, or slide at 1/8th their normal speed. Just pick ‘Slo-Mo’ when recording, and pick the appropriate speed (120fps or 240fps).To access slo-mo video mode, swipe through the list of shooting modes (video, photo, square, pano, etc.) next to the shutter button until Slo-Mo is selected.
